i was in a store the other day and when i approached the counter to pay for my goods, i noticed the clerk was reading what looked to me as a bible printed in chinese (upside down to me).
i mentioned to the clerk that i had never seen a bible printed in chinese, he said "you still haven't, it's Korean"...

I've just about finished uploading all of the past pieces I wish to share at this time.
To me, genre is secondary to subject matter. It is as if paintings were to be boxed together according to the medium by which they were created.
I was talking with someone a while back about Baroque music and the introduction of equal temperment (as a tuning system). Another person appeared and said "Oh! You like Bjork too?....".

I am setting up a few Stations to better keep these pieces in some kind of order. The Stations are based on the discs created at the end of each cycle and are titled (named) accordingly. The station page link is under the graphic above.
A Music and Video I put together in 2005 when I was creating under the moniker "Joe Normal".
I updated and shortened this from the YouTube version I uploaded in 2007. I received quite a few comments about it ranging from "Barbie finally got her comupence" to "This is sick". I had the idea some time ago from a Rolling Stones album called "Goats Head Soup" and after seeing the Beatles "butchered" album cover again recently, I thought I'd be in pretty good company...

MIDImage scans a photo or image and attributes "ON/OFF" values depending on the Red,Blue,Green, or Average "dot" in the Bitmap.
The Operator has options regarding Velocity (loudness) Note Range, Voice selection, Scale, Key, and Tempo.
The original generation is 32 minutes long. I cut it into 3 pieces and placed them in 3 genres.
Some pieces you may have found break the 3-5 minute rule...
In a way, these pieces are not meant to be listened to. In the Ambient Music tradition, they should be played at minimal volume while the listener is "doing" something else (reading or eating or scrubbing the toilet?). The length is meant to sustain a "state".
I have split some of these pieces into "parts" for easier digestion. The discs that I generate have the original versions.
