Do you think they can compete with FireFox if their "add on" library offers just as many new features as FireFox? Here is the link to Chrome extensions:

well google's a big company, and a great place to work in (i wish i could work there sometime XD) so i believe it'll be no time before google surpases everything...that'd be bad news to free file sharing but *shrug* that's a possibility

I'm using chrome right now. I love it. faster than any of the others, and great compatibility.

I am using FireFox, and I talked bad about that browser for a long time until the Add ons came out that made me customize it the way I want. Because of that I am a FireFox fan for sure.

I used to only use IE.... and trash talked everything else... now however.... I use Firefox.... & keep an eye on other browsers.... Google Chrome is nice... but IRC from when I was testing them against each other.... it is more resource intensive than Firefox... I think IE used the least... but a friend & I figure that's because so much of IE is integrated into Winblows OS....

I did try chrome not too long ago and couldn't deal with the lack of adblock. Reinstalled it today along with the AdThwart (terrible name) extension and liking it even more than Firefox, mostly because of the speed. Cheers for the heads-up Fun

lol you are right AdThwart is an awful name I am using the same ad blocker. I like how you can easily click on it to allow/disallow websites and how it displays that smiley face

Haha, on my iGoogle Page I use a FOX News RSS feed and it currently says "Suspect Charged in Thwarted Terror Plot Aboard Plane". I suppose the term "thwarted" is the upcoming saying for 2010

ok I upgraded to Firefox 3.5.14 two days ago and they must be mad at Google cuz Gmail and some of the other Google products will not load anymore. I verified with Safari and IE that these products are indeed up and running so its a Firefox issue. Fine Firefox, force me to choose another browser, I don't care, your 3.6 version blows anyway.

So now that I am trying out Chrome, is there a "script blocker" for it like there is on Firefox? FuN?

Hi Kim, you could downgrade to an older version of FireFox if you are having problems with the newer version. There are some extensions that help to block scripts but not as good as the ones FireFox has. Here are some though:

yeah I could downgrade but I haven't been happy with Firefox for awhile now, ever since they came out with the 3.6 version. It takes a really long time to start up the browser, too long imo.

So far I really like the Chrome especially new tab page where they list recently closed tabs and popular ones. I accidentally close tabs by mistake all the time and this is an easy way to reopen them.

I installed the JavaScript Blacklist, thanks. We'll see how this goes for a few days now.

Hi Kim, I just learned of a way to speed up both FireFox and Chrome using CCleaner. Open up your CCleaner program and click on the Applications tab. Check the boxes for "Compact Databases" for both FireFox and Google Chrome. Run the cleaner and the first time it does this it takes a few minutes to finish. Browse the net with either browser and notice a slight speed increase. Enjoy

Hi,

I'm using Firefox, and I have spoken ill of the browser for a long time until it became known supplements that forced me to change the way I want. Because I'm a fan of Firefox for sure.

Yeah I didn't like it at first either. Then when they released a new faster version, along with all of the cool addons:

I am a fan forever Especially ReminderFox, I synced up reminders on all of my computers.
