I woke up this morning and was shocked that I didn't receive any emails which would have been a first ever... Then I go onto my PC to see I had in fact received a lot of emails. Later on during the day I noticed I still didn't receive emails on my Blackberry. I called tech support and they said that this issue effected all Blackberry users and it is on the news:

http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/12/17/blackberry.outages/index.html?eref=igoogle_cnn

The funny thing is that I always watch the news, but today I have been so busy that I haven't even cut on the TV yet so that explains it. I am not sure how I lived before without my Blackberry. I do remember not wanting to leave the office due to getting an important email, and the Blackberry gives you more mobility knowing that nothing urgent is going on why you are on the road.

Does anyone remember what a phone booth is/was? If your cell phone breaks or you run out of minutes, just try to find one now, seems like they are all gone.

Yeah I do not see any phone booths, but you can still find payphones near car washes or gas stations (at least in my city).

I bet that ATM machines will be the next thing to go. Mainly because 24 hour stores like Krogers and Walmart offer cash back options when you use your debit card, and that I have to drive all across the city to find my bank's ATM.

I can't remember the last time I used an ATM....

if I DO need cash I buy something & get cash back.... but usually I just use my debit card for everything.... hardly ever carry cash....

Yeah the only time I use cash is for the car wash and restaurants. Also for the random donation at Kroger and Walmart to the Salvation Army.
